Make children dream, a mission
Then comes the time for his studies in Belgium, his native country. It was there that he trained to become a primary and kindergarten teacher. He spent a few years taking care of the little ones, an audience he particularly liked. What he likes above all is their spontaneity and creativity.
At the same time and while others are working on the farm or in the supermarket to earn some pocket money, Nicolas prefers to organize camps and birthdays for children. An evidence !
Camps at Club Med
He was then recruited to set up internships and holiday camps for a Belgian health insurance fund. Thanks to this professional opportunity, he travels to the four corners of Belgium, Switzerland, France and Italy, more particularly with teenagers from 11 to 16 years old.
He eventually took a liking to it and decided to make it his profession by applying to Club Méditerranée as a children's animator. He spent 7 years there and ended up occupying the position of manager of structures for children in the holiday villages.
In 2013, a new professional opportunity took him to Switzerland. This Nico is also an adventurer! A few years later, he was offered a job in an international school. He spent almost 3 years there. That's when the animation fever catches up with him!
The year 2018 marks a real turning point and it is the discussion with a dad that lights the spark. The latter's child, who studies in Nicolas's class, enjoys outdoor activities. However, nature camps do not yet exist in French-speaking Switzerland.
Neither one nor two! Nicolas, who wants to become his own boss, identifies a need and sets about creating his business. He buys his first 8-seater bus to ride with the little ones. Kids-Trip is born! He quickly surrounds himself with a team of animators who combine professionalism and fun.
At the time of blowing out its fifth candle, Kids-Trip is proud to have brought hundreds of children on an adventure! From holiday camps to extra-curricular activities, including themed birthdays, we are happy to share our passion for animation with you.
