DISCOVER OUR PTOGRAM WITH WORMY
Monday :
Discovery of wormy, our glass of earth with a thousand stories which knows nature so well and brings us its messages every day. He will tell us a story about spring which will guide us directly into our immense garden with its thousand smells, flavors and textures. Children will be able to discover the main plants that grow here. We will continue walking to the bottom of the field, where the ponds are located, which will shelter the beginning of a new life cycle, which we will be able to observe. We will discover the art of contemplation during a suspended moment. We will pick aromatic plants from the garden to make a good homemade herbal tea.
The afternoon will be dedicated to discovering chickens. We'll start by learning about their lives, what they eat and how they function, then we'll talk about one of their biggest predators: the fox. Children will be able to make an origami fox craft to take home.
Tuesday :
Wormy will explain to us what we do in a garden, he will tell us about the cycle of a plant. Children will be able to carry out activities in the garden and even sow seeds to take home in a pot that they will decorate.
And the stones in the garden? We don't want it! The children will help remove some and can decorate them for the house, because stones can be great but in places other than the garden!
In the second part of the day we will talk about corn in all its forms. How is it planted? What does it look like? And how is popcorn actually made? Children will be able to make popcorn from corn from the farm!
Wednesday :
Wormy will tell us about wild nature, that which we do not disturb, and the forest in particular.
We will take a morning walk to the waterfall trail (2 hours of walking including half an hour on a small forest path, sometimes muddy).
In the afternoon, the children will be able to harvest some plants for the house. We will accompany them in their questions and teach them the art of harvesting, never taking everything!
Thursday :
Wormy will tell us about all the good recipes that we can make with freshly picked ingredients.
We will make our morning snack with flowers from the garden: dandelion cookies.
The children will carry out a nature treasure hunt after tasting their confections.
The afternoon will be devoted to creating a herbarium with plants that are already dry but which actually exist in the garden.
Friday :
This time we are making our own dinner: we will make our bread, our grills and our garden salad. All over a wood fire!
The afternoon will be devoted to movement games to end the camp with fun!
